Full-text news, legal, and business sources.
Use the Search the News box on the lower left side of the page to search for news articles.
You can also click on “Search by Content Type” above the main search box and select one of the options under the News heading.
Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. The database also contains selective full text for more than 330 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full-text television and radio news transcripts are provided from CBS News, CNN, CNN International, FOX News, NPR, etc.
Search for articles in news publications, including The Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and newspapers from Washington and the Western U.S.
Newspaper Title Search
Enter the name of the newspaper and click Go.
This will search both our print and online collections. If you get the message “We’re sorry—we can’t find any journals,” make sure you entered the title correctly. If the library does not subscribe to the newspaper, you can submit an interlibrary loan (ILL) request for a specific article and we will try to find it for you from another library.
If we do subscribe to the newspaper, you’ll get a page of results showing the date range(s) of its availability.
If the newspaper is available in print, you will see the message “Hurst Library Periodicals.” Our print newspapers are located on the main floor of the Kirkland Campus Library.
If the newspaper is available online, you will see links to the databases where you can access it.
Click on the full text link to be taken to the newspaper.
From there, you can either browse by issue or search within the newspaper.
