Computers, printing, copying, scanning and faxing

See the Computer FAQ for details.

Use of the building

Members of the public are free to use the library during normal business hours. Please see our policies on Non-University Minors in the library and Non-University Use of the Library.

Use of electronic resources

Most of the library's electronic resources are limited to use by NU Students, Faculty and Staff from off-campus. These resources are designated by a symbol. However, all electronic resources are available for use by the public from within the library building.

Use of library computers

Members of the public may use library computers but have lower priority than NU community members. Please ask a library staff member to log you in using a guest account. Library patrons accessing the University network through the library guest account must abide by the policies set forth in the Network and Computer Resource "Acceptable Use" Policy located in the Student Handbook.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is limited to current students, faculty and staff. You can request interlibrary loan services from your public library.
