Finding Specific Databases
Using the main search box will not show you every article available at NU, so you may want to also use some of the library’s other research databases.
If you know the name of the database you want to use, you can find it by clicking on the arrow to the left of the main search box and choosing the Articles tab, then using the drop-down menu under Article Databases.
Databases are arranged in alphabetical order. You can scroll through the list or type the database name into the search box.
The Find link at the top of the library homepage is another way to get to a specific database.
The Article and Research Databases section has a drop-down menu of databases.
Subject Guides contain recommended databases (and other resources) for specific subject areas. A drop-down menu is located in the Subject Guides section of the Find page.
