Blu-Ray and DVD Videos
The Video Collection consists of videos that directly or indirectly support the NU curriculum as well as popular titles.
- Streaming media options should be considered where applicable.
- Physical media is Blu-Ray (preferred) or DVD formats.
- R-rated movies should have strong curricular justification; popular movies should be rated no higher than PG-13.
Streaming Video
The library subscribes to streaming video collections that support the curriculum. The library currently subscribes to a number of video packages from Alexander Street Press and a small collection of videos from Psychotherapy.net.
Board Games and Videos Games
The NU Library purchases board games and video games which are recommended by the NU community, well-reviewed, or popular.
Video games rated Teen (T) or lower may be purchased for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, or XBOX One platforms.
